3.  Describe your experience on EDUC165 Distance Learning. Indicate the pros and cons.

EDUC 165 distance education helped me a lot to focus more on my practice teaching. It gave me more time to prepare my lessons plans, and visual aids. I am not required to go to school and meet my teacher and classmates, I can easily ask for their assistance even if they are far away. All I need to do is to make a blog, and post my special topics. As long as there is a internet connection at our home I can access my blog anytime.

The bad things of having distance learning is that, I was not able to make my requirements on the exact date, good thing there is an extension. I have to stay late at night just to finish my special topics. I always forget my special topics because there are many things to do. I did not focus on making my requirements in special topics because I have to take Practice Teaching and Special Topics at the same time.

#7 What teachers really want to tell parents

Reaction
"What teachers really want to tell parents"

"Parents are the first Teacher of every child, and Teachers are the second Parents of child" This article is important for me as a future professional, it can help me a lot when there is a problem concerning the behavior of my students, I can easily reach the assistance of their parents.

Parents are the who is involve in every child's need, as I have said they are the first teacher of every child. They also give motivation, strength and they serve as an inspiration to their children. They are also the partners of teachers in assisting their children in studying while the teachers are the secondary parents they are the one who guides every student in studying, just like the parents of their students teachers also give courage and motivation to students.

In the article Ron Clark discussed about the pressure given by the parents to the teachers of their children.  "We are educators, not nannies, we are educated professionals who work with kids every day and often see your child in a different light than you do. If we give you advice, don't fight it." Ron Clark said. This means that a Teacher must teach a student not babysit them, because teachers teach. Children behave differently when their parents are not around, so parents must listen to the teachers because they spent more time with their child at school and they are the one who can see the different personalities of every child when their parents are not around. Teachers are the one who teach future professionals so every parent must cooperate with the teachers, parents must be open in every suggestions involving their child, a great relationship between the teacher and the parent can help in the schooling of every child.

After reading the article of Ron Clark I realized what are the challenges that I'm about to face. Thanks to this article I can easily reach my students and their parents. As a future professional a need a good teacher-parent relationship because my mission is to make their dreams come true, to make their children a professional and a good citizen.

#1 Career Planning

1. The first step towards successful career planning starts with one's self , it begins with knowing yourself. what are your interests, skills, needs, preferred roles and environment. the second step is making options, in this step you are about to explore which occupation are you interested, after listing down your options you must get more specific information about this listed options. in the third step you will match your options. you will identify possible occupations that you are best fitted, in this process you will also choose the short term (goal that is done in the mind) or long term (written, evaluated and monitored goal) option. The last process is where you will take actions, in this step you will develop the previous steps; you will find a job, write your resume and prepare for job interviews.

2. Career Planning is a Significant Endeavor because it is the road to success. In career planning you will choose an occupation, get a job, grow in that job until you reach retirement, it is important because in Career Planning it is where you will your passion and hard work to achieve success. Career Planning is where you will enhance and enrich your knowledge, skills, and attitudes which are needed to attain success.

1. "I choose teaching because it is challenging, I believe that every student has their own talent that is need of development, and only we music educators an see it. So that's why I choose teaching as my profession, to enhance the talents of every student. And we music educators belong to the group of "Endangered Species"

2. "As a professional artist it's difficult to go to a classroom and teach. In my first 3 years I find it hard, it took me 5 long years to adjust. The problem of a rookie teacher is the adjustment period, it is very hard. I attended trainings, and lots of seminars so I can easily adjust. You must have patience and passion, and of course love teaching"
